I’m back in the studio soon to record another of my tracks 18 again. The next few records will be more up tempo style numbers. Its not thrash or heavy, its more kinda middle of the road rock. I don’t only do ballads, though you’d be forgiven for thinking that. I love to work in loads of different genres and I’d even love to record some ambient electronic vocals. I even have a secret desire to sing opera! My uncle was a very successful opera singer and I am often to be found singing along in the car to Puccini.
However, the big problem I’m trying to solve at the moment is what the next step is. I want to move up a level and I felt that I did that with my last gig at the Georgian Theatre, but its like eating sweets. You just want more and more!
I have my single out soon on Matchbox records (delayed again!!!) But I want more live gigs that are above the usual: "Playing to three guys in a pub who are waiting to go on after you" type of gig.
I guess what I need is a manager/promoter type person behind me, someone who knows people, who knows people, but good ones are hard to come by. Getting ’into’ the music business is so hard, because there are so many people wanting to get through the door and there are only so many openings.
I’m sure something will come along soon, If I keep remembering this famous saying:
"It’s funny, the harder I worked the ’luckier’ I became......"

Hi Guys
I posted new tracks and videos. I hope you might listen, but my experience on Vox is that people are only here to be listened TO not to pro-actively listen to other artists music. Sorry to sound cynical.
If I'm wrong I'd LOVE to be proved wrong.
I think that is what is wrong with Vox. It''s mainly people posting to be heard by the music industry and be 'picked up' and we (and I include ME here) don't actively :LISTEN.
Maybe we should do something about that. Lets see about cutting out the middle man here and make our own VOICE
:-)
Hello to Kang and all of you fellow Voxers
I would love you all to take some time out of your bust promotions work to give my new tune a listen; Insecurity. I have a longer unedited version which I thought was too long at 4min 39 secs and I was worried it dragged abit so I have only included the shorter version.
Any thoughts or opinions would be welcome. I would also love to be considered for the Spotlight (of Course)
I played last nights Live acoustic session on Radio NE1fm. It went really well. I LOVED it. To have a whole one hour show devoted to you is just amazing.
I have recorded it and I might post some of the tracks from it on here, when I get time.

Hello to the online community.
I am doing a live session on Radio NE1 FM this Wednesday night at 7.30 of about 5 acoustic songs.
It is on 102.5 FM frequency or you can listen online at www.ne1fm.com
It would be great if fellow muso's could tune in and give me an honest critique. I intend to do a lot of work on my live sound this year so i'm anxious to get it right.
:-)
Please tune in (it's on when Corrie street starts so thats a good enough reason to turn off and have a listen isn't it?)
Thanks KangYeah I got a lot more tunes:-) read more
